An absolute classic and a lovely traditional centrepiece for Easter. We make our Simnel cake in the traditional manner with a layer of marzipan through the middle of a delicious blend of fruits, zest and delicate spice. The cake is hand finished with a layer of marzipan and eleven marzipan balls. The eleven represent the Apostles of Christ minus Judas .... and not a lot of people know that.
